The Otho Davis Scholarship Foundation was established in 1999 at a dinner honoring Otho Davis, Head Trainer for the Philadelphia Eagles for 23 years. That night, Otho requested that the proceeds go towards a scholarship for aspiring students studying sports medicine or a related field. Since the inaugural dinner, the foundation has raised over $200,000 in net proceeds. Otho's legacy will continue as the foundation officers and board continue to raise funds through contributions, donations, and fundraisers.
On November 11th, 2014, the Otho Davis Scholarship Foundation hosted its 16th annual banquet. During the event, we celebrated the 10th anniversary of the 2004 NFC Championship Team and presented a $10,000 scholarship to Timothy Llewellyn. We also presented the Dick Vermeil Award to Dr. Peter F. DeLuca. For highlights from the event, click on the photo to the right, or visit our facebook page. Stay tuned for updates regarding the next Otho Davis Scholarship banquet which will take place on 11/11/2015.
